Experience: Canine Partners
I worked at Canine Partners in West Sussex as an advanced trainer of assistance dogs.
I trained dogs to assist people with physical disabilities, including people using wheelchairs. I used professional training methods, including clicker training, to train dogs to learn complex tasks.
I then matched dogs with suitable clients and passed on the necessary dog handling skills to clients during intensive training courses.
I gained extensive experience of training dogs of various retrieving breeds:
- Labrador Retrievers
- Golden Retrievers
- Flat coated Retrievers
- Labradoodles
- Goldendoodles
